Maryland Department of Health Accredited Program
The Community Health Worker (CHW) Training Program at Fenote Training Academy is accredited by the Maryland Department of Health and offered through the Academy's Department of Population Health.
This comprehensive program includes 145 hours of online and live virtual instruction, completed over a 14–15 week period. The training includes:
- Weekly modules featuring pre-recorded lectures, PowerPoint presentations, and downloadable handouts for flexible learning
- Weekly online discussion
- A 40-hour in-person field practicum to apply skills in real-world settings

- Complete all module activities
- Pass a final knowledge assessment
- Deliver a case study presentation
Enrollment Prerequisites:
Participants must be 18 years or older and possess a high school diploma or GED. No previous healthcare experience is required.
